Digital Space and Knowledge Management

Personal knowledge management (PKM) has been pivotal in my journey from chemistry to finance and, eventually, computational finance. A well-structured digital space lets me capture fleeting ideas, connect concepts, and resurface them when tackling real projects.

“People forget 90 % of what they learn after a week unless information is reinforced.” — Ebbinghaus (1885)

Using linked-note tool (Obsidian) and spaced-repetition, I created a graph of concepts that accelerated my shift into advanced mathematics despite an asynchronous course path. Research by Ahrens (2017) on the Zettelkasten method shows how externalized thinking can 10× idea generation; my grades in calculus jumped significantly after applying these habits.
